Steven J. Rosen, also known as Satyaraja Das (; born 1955), is an American author. He is the founding editor of '' The Journal of Vaishnava Studies'' and an associate editor of ''Back to Godhead'', the magazine of the Hare Krishna movement. Religious conversion is the adoption of a set of beliefs identified with one particular religious denomination to the exclusion of others. An academy (Attic Greek: Ἀκαδήμεια; Koine Greek Ἀκαδημία) is an institution of secondary or tertiary higher learning (and generally also research or honorary membership). The name traces back to Plato's school of philosophy, founded approximately 385 BC at Akademia, a sanctuary of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and skill, north of Athens, Greece.
