''Saturdays = Youth'' is the fifth studio album by French electronic music band M83, released on 11 April 2008 by Virgin Records. The album was produced by Ken Thomas, with co-production by Ewan Pearson and M83 frontman Anthony Gonzalez. The album yielded four singles: "Couleurs" in February 2008, "Graveyard Girl" in April, "Kim & Jessie" in July and "We Own the Sky" in December. "Kim & Jessie" was placed at number 256 on '' Pitchfork''s list of "The Top 500 Tracks of the 2000s" in August 2009. As of October 2011, the album had sold 76,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. ''Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'' (stylised as ) is the sixth studio album by French electronic music band M83. The album was released on 18 October 2011, by Naïve Records in France and by Mute Records in the United States. The album was the last M83 album with keyboardist Morgan Kibby and the band's first full double album. The album received generally favourable reviews from critics. It debuted at number 15 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 with first-week sales of 21,000 copies, making it M83's highest-charting album to date. It sold 300,000 copies in the United States as of March 2016. Kenneth Vaughan Thomas (died July 2021) was an English record producer, recording engineer, and mixing engineer. As a record producer, he worked with artists such as the Bongos, Wire, Dave Gahan, Sigur Rós, and M83. Early career His career in the music industry began as an assistant and engineer on sessions for groups like Public Image Ltd, the Buzzcocks, Wire, Alien Sex Fiend, and Rush while working at Trident and Advision studios. In 1980, he composed and recorded the album ''Beat the Light''. Due to his involvement with punk and experimental artists, he went on to work with Icelandic group the Sugarcubes as an engineer on their debut album ''Life's Too Good''. Written by Anthony Gonzalez with his brother Yann, it was released in April 2008 as the second single from M83's fifth studio album, ''Saturdays = Youth''. M83 are a French electronic music group formed in Antibes in 1999 and currently based in Los Angeles. Initially a duo of multi-instrumentalists Nicolas Fromageau and Anthony Gonzalez, Fromageau parted ways shortly after touring for their second album ''Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts''. Gonzalez remains the sole constant member of the project, serving as the primary songwriter and lead vocalist.
