Ellie Sattler
Dr. Ellie Sattler is a fictional character in the ''Jurassic Park'' franchise. She is introduced in Michael Crichton's 1990 novel ''Jurassic Park'', which began the franchise. Steven Spielberg directed the 1993 film adaptation, casting Laura Dern as Sattler and giving the character a more substantial role compared to the novel. She is a paleobotanist in both the novel and its film adaptation. In the novel, she is a student of Dr. Alan Grant. For the film, Spielberg made them a romantic couple, with Sam Neill portraying Grant. Dern briefly reprised the role in 2001's ''Jurassic Park III''. In the film, Sattler and Grant have broken off their relationship but remain friends. She is married to Mark and has two children. Dern's character was initially absent from the film, but script rewrites during pre-production added a small role for her. Hubert Sattler (painter)
Hubert Sattler (21 January 1817 – 3 April 1904) was an Austrian painter who also signed works with the pseudonyms Louis Ritschard, E. Grossen, and Gottfried Stähly-Rychen. He traveled widely and was noted for large and minutely detailed cosmorama paintings of cities, monuments, and landscapes of many countries. Education and career Hubert Sattler was born in Salzburg. His father, Johann Michael Sattler (1787-1847), was a landscape painter who created the Sattler Panorama of Salzburg in 1825–29. His mother was Anna Maria Kittenberger, foster daughter of the painter Hubert Maurer. Scott Sattler
Scott Sattler (born 13 December 1971) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played during the 1990s and 2000s, later becoming the Football Manager of the Gold Coast Titans. A Queensland State of Origin representative , he played his club football for the Gold Coast Chargers from 1992 to 1993 as well as a second spell with the club between 1997 and 1998. He also played for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters in 1994, the South Queensland Crushers between 1995 and 1996, the Penrith Panthers between 1999 and 2003 and one season with the Wests Tigers in 2004. Michael Sattler
Michael Sattler (1490 – 20 May 1527) was a monk who left the Roman Catholic Church during the Protestant Reformation to become one of the early leaders of the Anabaptist movement. He was particularly influential for his role in developing the Schleitheim Confession. Life Sattler was born around 1490 in Staufen im Breisgau, Staufen, Germany. He became a Benedictine monk in the abbey of Abbey of Saint Peter in the Black Forest, St. Peter, and probably became a prior. He left St. Peter's probably in May 1525, when the monastery had been taken by troops from the Black Forest fighting in the German Peasants' War. He later married a former Beguine named Margaretha. The date of Sattler's arrival in Zurich is not known, but he was expelled from that city on 18 November, 1525, in a wave of expulsions of foreigners resulting from the disputation on baptism of 6–8 November.
