Sattam Oru Vilayaattu
''Sattam Oru Vilaiyattu'' () is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language vigilante action film, directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced by Shoba Chandrasekhar. The film stars Vijayakanth, Radha and Ravichandran. It revolves around a man seeking to avenge the murder of his mother and younger brother. The film was released on 21 October 1987. Plot As a boy, Raja saw his mother and younger brother murdered. He saw too that his police inspector father DCP Needhi Manikkam was powerless to get the murderer convicted as there was no evidence. As a young man under the name of Vijay, he gets even with the criminal Mathappu Sundaram killing each one of his three sons. One under water, the second from a mountain peak, the third murder is made to look as it were an accident with the car carrying the victim hurtling off the peak. The film had musical score by Manoj–Gyan. Plot Chinna Durai (Vijayakanth), a farmer lives quietly in his village when Nirmala (Radha) and Gunasekhar (Radha Ravi) intervene to wreak havoc. For revenge, Nirmala's family and Chinna Durai's father ( M. N. Nambiar) insist on getting married. While the wedding is in preparation, Gunasekhar's troops twist the neck of Durai's father. ''The Indian Express'' is an English-language Indian daily newspaper founded in 1932. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. Kattassery Joseph Yesudas (born 10 January 1940) is an Indian playback singer and musician who sings Indian classical, devotional and film songs. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of Indian Music and also as a cultural icon of Kerala. Yesudas is estimated to have recorded more than 50,000 songs in various Indian languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Odia, Bengali, Marathi as well as Arabic, English, Latin, and Russian, in a career spanning six decades. He is often referred to as ''Gaanagandharvan'' ( The Celestial Singer). He is one of the highly acclaimed singers in India. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935. At the early age Pulavar used to work in textile mill known as Combodia mills in Coimbatore and also studied his Tamil literature in Tava Tiru Shanthalinga Adigalar Perur Tamil Kaluri Coimbatore. He came to Chennai in 1964 with the ambition of writing songs for Tamil films. He worked as a Tamil teacher at Santhome high school before he started writing lyrics in Tamil films.
