Satta Bazaar
''Satta Bazaar'' () is a 1959 Indian Hindi-language film starring Meena Kumari and Balraj Sahni in lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Kalyanji Anandji. Plot Ramesh (Balraj Sahni) is a widower who lives with his young daughter Kala. In order to give Kala, a mother's love, Ramesh marries Jamuna (Meena Kumari) much to the displeasure of Kala. Jamuna continues to strive to care and love her as her own, despite giving birth to a baby boy. After some years, a grown up Kala (Vijaya Chowdhury) falls in love with Shyam (Suresh), the son of Ramesh's business partner Bholanath ( Asit Sen) who belongs to a different caste. Ramesh disapproves the match but is eventually convinced by Jamuna and the couple gets formally engaged. After the engagement, Ramesh soon meets Badri Prasad (Ramayan Tiwari), a multi-millionaire and starts investing in Stock exchange. Ravindra Dave
Ravindra Dave (16 April 1919 – 21 July 1992) was an Indian film director, producer, editor and screenwriter. He directed more than 30 Hindi films in the 1950s and 1960s including several hits like ''Nagina'' (1951), '' Agra Road'' (1957), ''Post Box 999'' (1958), ''Satta Bazaar'' (1959), ''Dulha Dulhan'' (1964) and '' Raaz'' (1967). He turned to Gujarati cinema with his blockbuster ''Jesal Toral'' (1971) and directed more than 25 Gujarati films in the 1970s and 1980s. Shailendra (lyricist)
Shailendra (30 August 1923 – 14 December 1966) was a popular Indian Hindi-Urdu Poet, lyricist and film producer. Noted for his association with the filmmaker Raj Kapoor, singer Mukesh, and the composers Shankar–Jaikishan, he wrote lyrics for several successful Hindi film songs in the 1950s and the 1960s. Mohammad Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Gulshan Kumar Mehta, popularly known by his pen name Gulshan Bawra (literally: "Gulshan The Mad") (12 April 1937 – 7 August 2009), was an Indian songwriter and actor in Hindi cinema. In a career spanning 42 years, he has to his credit about 240 songs, he collaborated with noted music directors like Kalyanji Anandji, Shankar Jaikishan, and R. D. Burman. Moolchand was a prolific character actor in Hindi and Panjabi cinema, who was active from 1950 to his death in the late 1980s. He appeared in over 250 films. These films spanned the parallel cinema of Guru Dutt to the wrestler films of Dara Singh. He is known for his big stomach. The first known appearance of Moolchand is in 1950.
