Satish Jarkiholi
Satish Laxmanrao Jarkiholi (born 1 June 1962) is an INC politician & mass leader of Belgavi who served as the Minister of Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka from 22 December 2018 to 23 July 2019. He is currently serving as the Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Yemakanmardi constituency since 2008. He was the forest and environment minister in the H. D. Kumarswamy cabinet. He is a former minister of Small scale Industries and also was a Minister of Excise in the Siddaramaiah cabinet. Life Satish Jarkiholi was born in a prominent sugarcane-growing family in Belagavi district. His brothers Ramesh Jarkiholi and Balachandra Jarkiholi are both politicians and represent Gokak and Arabhavi legislative constituencies respectively. Gokak
Gokak is a taluka headquarters in the Belgaum district of Karnataka state, India. It is located around 70 km from Belgaum at the confluence of two rivers, the Ghataprabha and the Markandeya. The population of the city is according to 2011 census is approximately 213000. Gokak city has second highest GDP in the district of Belgaum after Belgaum city. The common language is Kannada. Gokak is surrounded on one side by a range of hills, and on the other side by a vast plain of black soil. The river Ghataprabha flows from the north side of the city and cascades down through a cleft of 167 ft, to form Gokak Falls before flowing through the city. Ramesh Jarkiholi
Ramesh Jarkiholi (born 1 May 1960) an Indian politician, former minister of Water Resources in the Government of Karnataka, between 2020 and 2021. As member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he represents Gokak in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He previously served as the Minister for Municipal Administration. Jarkiholi is a six-time member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. In June 2016, he was inducted into the Siddaramaiah-led government of Karnataka as a cabinet minister. He held the Small Scale Industries Ministry portfolio. He was disqualified from the assembly as per the anti-defection law in 2019, but was re-elected to the assembly on a BJP ticket in December 2019. Suresh Channabasappa Angadi (1 June 195523 September 2020) was an Indian politician who served as the Union Minister of State for Railways of India from 30 May 2019 to 23 September 2020. He was Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from 2004 to September 2020. He was a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Karnataka.
