Sasse (musician)
Sasse is the stage name used by Finnish electronic music producer Klas Lindblad. Based out of Berlin, Germany since 1999, Lindblad has also recorded under the monikers Freestyle Man, Cocamoto Exclusivo, Morris Brown, Sassomatic, Thirsty Monk and Winston Fletcher. He was also a member of electronic act Mr. Negative. Sasse's base-genre falls into the IDM category but also incorporates the styles of house music, electro, techno, Giorgio Moroder-influenced disco and Italo disco. After several singles released as a remixer (many on his own Moodmusic record label), Sasse released his debut full-length album ''Made Within the Upper Stairs of Heaven'' in May 2006. Martina Angela Sasse is a German psychologist whose research spans the areas of human–computer interaction and computer security. She is Horst Görtz Endowed Professor of Human-Centred Security at Ruhr University Bochum. and has a part-time position as Professor of Human-Centred Technology at University College London. Education and career Sasse did her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Wuppertal, and has a master's degree in occupational psychology from the University of Sheffield and a doctorate from the University of Birmingham. Antoinette Sasse
Antoinette Sasse (née Kohn, 18 June 1897 – 1986) was a French artist, and a prominent member of the French Resistance during World War II. Biography Sasse was born in Paris to a wealthy Jewish family; one of four children, her sister Suzanne would later become a noted aviator. She was a pupil of Henri Matisse and a friend and pupil of Léger, Soutine, Friesz and Van Dongen. She painted in the Fauvism style, exhibiting her work in many Parisian galleries. Sasse met Jean Moulin in November 1936 and assisted him with his work of establishing a French resistance movement. In June 1940, when the fall of Paris was imminent, she and Moulin moved the papers of Pierre Cot, which documented Cot's work at the French Ministry of the Air, from Paris to a safe house in Chartres. From 1942, she supervised the running of an art gallery in Nice which was a cover for Moulin's activities in the area. Arthur Sasse
Arthur Hjalmar Sasse (January 20, 1899 – October 3, 1991) was an American UPI photographer. In 1948, his pictures were exhibited at a show at the Bronx Zoo. He is best known for his photo of Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out. The photo was taken on March 14, 1951, after Einstein's 72nd birthday celebration at The Princeton Club. He made the iconic shot, but the other photographers surrounding the car missed it. The appropriateness of the photo was heavily debated by Sasse's editors before being published on International News Photos Network. It became one of the most popular photos ever taken of Einstein, who himself requested nine prints for his personal use. The picture showed a "nutty professor" and playful side of Einstein rather than the serious one that many assumed about the man. Benjamin Eric Sasse ( ; born February 22, 1972) is an American politician and academic administrator serving as the junior United States senator for Nebraska since 2015. He is a member of the Republican Party. Born in Plainview, Nebraska, Sasse holds a bachelor's degree in government from Harvard University, a Master of Arts in liberal studies from St. John's College and master's and doctoral degrees in American history from Yale University. Hans-Jürgen Sasse (April 30, 1943 in Berlin – January 14, 2015) was a German linguist. Life Sasse studied linguistics, Indo-European, Semitics and Balkanology in Berlin, Thessaloniki and Munich. He was awarded a Ph.D. in 1970 in Munich by the department of Semitic languages for his dissertation ''Linguistische Analyse des arabischen Dialekts der Mhallamiye in der Provinz Mardin (Südosttürkei)''. From 1972 to 1977 he was research assistant at the Institut für Allgemeine und Indogermanische Sprachwissenschaft (Institute for General and Indo-European Linguistics) in Munich. In 1975, he received his habilitation with the book ''Die Morphophonologie des Galab-Verbs'' and in 1977 he was made a professor. Hermann Sasse
Hermann Otto Erich Sasse (17 July 1895 – 9 August 1976) was a German Lutheran pastor, theologian, and author. He was considered one of the foremost confessional Lutheran theologians of the 20th century. Sasses was born on 17 July 1895 in Sonnewalde, Lower Lusatia, Germany, to Hermann Sasse, a pharmacist, and his wife Maria, née Berger. In 1913, he began reading theology and ancient philology at the University of Berlin. He was a German infantryman in World War I, in which he was one of only six men in his battalion to survive the trench warfare in Flanders. Sasse began his career under the influence of the theological liberalism of his teachers, such as Adolf Harnack.
