Anatoliy Sass
Anatoly Fomich Sass (russian: Анатолий Фомич Сасс, born 22 December 1935) is a Russian rower who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1964 Summer Olympics and in the 1968 Summer Olympics. He was born in Moscow. At the 1964 Olympics, he was a crew member of the Soviet boat which finished seventh in the coxless four event. Sass stood in for the single sculls champion who was suffering from illness, Vyacheslav Ivanov, at the 1965 European Rowing Championships, where he won the silver medal. Dawn Marie Sass
Dawn Marie Sass (born September 18, 1959) is an American politician who served as the 33rd State Treasurer of Wisconsin from 2007 to 2011. She was the third female Treasurer in Wisconsin's history. Early life and education Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sass graduated from St. Mary's Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and did graduate work at National Louis University. Sass later earned a Master of Business Administration from Keiser University. Else Kai Sass
Else Kai Sass née Brasen Bjernede (1912–1987) was a Danish art historian. After a period as a custodian at Thorvaldsens Museum, with her appointment as history of art professor at Aarhus University in 1954, she became the third woman in Denmark to hold a professorship. Over the following 25 years she was a key figure in the development of the history of art as a modern academic discipline, becoming a professor at the University of Copenhagen in 1967. Her books include ''Thorvaldsens portrætbuster'', published in three volumes (1963–65) and still considered to be the standard work on the many portrait busts created by Bertel Thorvaldsen. Evelyn Handler
Evelyn Erika Handler (née Sass; May 5, 1933 – December 23, 2011) served from 1980 to 1983 as the University of New Hampshire's fourteenth, and first female, President. Handler was the first woman in the country to be named president of a publicly supported land grant university. She was credited with bringing in $15 million in federal grants for a science and engineering research center. In 1983, Handler was inaugurated as President of Brandeis University, where she was also the first woman to hold that position. Biography She was born in Schwerin, in the former East Germany, which is now the capital of the Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Sass is a professor of Clinical Psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University who specializes in severe psychopathology, philosophy and psychology, and psychology and the arts.
