Sasom Pobprasert
Sasom Pobprasert ( th, สะสม พบประเสริฐ; born 10 October 1967) is a Thai professional football manager and former player, who is the manager of Thai League 1 club Chonburi. He is a former footballer in Thailand who played as midfielder for Thailand national team, including an appearance in a 1998 FIFA World Cup qualifying match. He scored one goal for the national team. He vary from the player and manager to the football pundit with the mantle of commentator who analysis for the football matches alongside TrueVisions and PPTV channel. In 2009, he became the manager of Thai Premier League side Thai Port F.C. He has made an instant impact at PAT Stadium and has targeted a top five finish for the 2009 season. He previously managed BEC Tero Sasana from 2004 until early 2005. 1998 FIFA World Cup
The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, the football world championship for men's national teams. The finals tournament was held in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998. The country was chosen as the host nation by FIFA for the second time in the history of the tournament, defeating Morocco in the bidding process. AFF U-16 Youth Championship
The AFF U-16 Championship is an annual international football competition contested by the national teams of the members of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and occasionally invited nations from the rest of Asia. The tournament used to be played at under-17 level, however the AFF followed the lead of the Asian Football Confederation after they renamed its U-17 competition to fall in line with FIFA's naming conventions and also to reflect the age of the players at the competition. 2001–02 Thai League
The 2001-02 Thai Premier League consisted of 12 teams. The bottom three clubs would be relegated and three teams promoted from the Thailand Division 1 League. The Queen's Cup was an annual football cup competition in Thailand, run by the Football Association of Thailand. The competition was named after Queen Sirikit. Kor Royal Cup
Kor Royal Cup ( th, ถ้วยพระราชทาน ก. ; ถ้วย ก.), known as the Yai Cup ( th, ถ้วยใหญ่) until 1963, was the highest level of club football competition which competed in the tournament in Thailand from 1916 to 1995. It was founded by the Football Association of Thailand in 1916. Department of Performing Arts was the first team that won this competition. In 1996, Thai League 1 was formed by the Football Association of Thailand to act as the top professional football league in place of Kor Royal cup. The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. Police Tero Football Club ( th, สโมสรฟุตบอลโปลิศ-เทโร), formerly known as BEC Tero Sasana Football Club, is a Thai professional football club based in Bangkok.
