Saski Baskonia B
Baskonia B is the reserve team of Baskonia. It currently plays in Liga EBA, the fourth tier of Spanish basketball. History In the 2000–01 season, it played in Liga EBA with Tiago Splitter as its most important player. In 2012, the team becomes to Fundación 5+11 from the agreement between the club and Deportivo Alavés, the main football club in Vitoria-Gasteiz. In 2016, the club requests to the FEB a place in the Spanish 2nd-tier level LEB Oro for the 2016–17 season. In 2017, the request of the club has been accepted by the FEB and the team will occupy a place in the Spanish 3rd-tier level LEB Plata for the 2017–18 season. Liga EBA
Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado (EBA), commonly known as Liga EBA, is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, LEB Oro, and LEB Plata. It is administered by the FEB. It was previously the Spanish second tier level competition from 1994 to 1996, the third tier level from 1996 to 2000, and the fifth tier level, from 2007 to 2009. The Liga EBA is made up of five inter-regional groups. After the regular season, sixteen teams advance to the playoffs, where only four teams are promoted to the LEB Plata. The lowest ranked teams of each group, are relegated to the Primera División. Iraurgi Saski Baloia, also known as Sammic Hostelería for sponsorship reasons, is a professional Basketball team based in Azpeitia, Basque Country, Spain. Founded in 1975, the men's team currently plays in LEB Oro and the women's team in the Liga Femenina 2. History Iraurgi was founded in 1975 and takes its name from the Iraurgi valley, located between Azpeitia and Azkoitia. In its first seasons, the club played the provincial competitions of Gipuzkoa. In 2005, the men's club made its debut in national competition by playing the Liga EBA. The club grew up in the league and in 2009 qualified for the first time to the promotion playoffs to LEB Plata, achieving promotion in their second attempt, in 2010. Círculo Gijón Baloncesto y Conocimiento () is a professional basketball club based in Gijón, Asturias that currently plays in LEB Plata, the third tier of Spanish basketball. The 2018–19 LEB Plata season was the 19th season of the Spanish basketball third league. It started on 6 October 2018 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 25 May 2019 with the promotion playoffs.
