Montana ( bg, Монтана ) is a town in northwestern Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of the Montana Province. On the 2021 census, it had a population of 36,455. Names When the town was first settled by Slavs it was known as Kutlovitsa; later in Ottoman Turkish as Kutlofça.
