Sasho Pargov
Sasho Pargov ( bg, Сашо Паргов; born 25 June 1946) is a former Bulgarian people, Bulgarian Association football, footballer who played as a central forward. He played with Marek Dupnitsa and earned 465 caps, scoring 167 goals. He also played in Marek's UEFA Cup Winners' Cup tie against Alex Ferguson's Aberdeen F.C., Aberdeen in 1978. Pargov's son, Ivaylo Pargov, Ivo, is a former footballer who also played for Marek during his career. Boboshevo
Boboshevo ( bg, Бобошево ) is a town in Western Bulgaria. It is located in Kyustendil Province and is close to the towns of Kocherinovo and Rila. The town of Boboshevo is situated around to the south of Sofia and from Bulgaria's prime skiing destination, Bansko. Approximately 4 km away from Boboshevo is the main road that connects Sofia with the Greek border. Boboshevo lies in the lowest part of the southwestern ridge of the Rila Mountains, in the fertile valley of the Struma River (where it meets with the German River). Thanks to its favourable location and mild climate, the area of Boboshevo has been populated since antiquity. The Boboshevo region is known also as the 'Bulgarian Jerusalem' along with the region of Ohrid due to its role of a cultural centre during the 15th to the 17th century. Ivaylo Sashov Pargov (Bulgarian language, Bulgarian: Ивайло Сашов Паргов, born 21 August 1974) is a Bulgarian former association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), forward. He has been the manager of PFC Marek Dupnitsa, Marek Dupnitsa since September 2013. Career Pargov's first club was Marek Dupnitsa. In his career he also played in Minyor Pernik, Lokomotiv Sofia, Greek Anagennisi Giannitsa F.C., Anagennisi Giannitsa and Naftex Burgas. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), First League and above the Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful teams are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Levski Sofia, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2022 final.
