Sarine Voltage
Sarine Voltage (born December 27, 1959) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. She is best known for her work with San Francisco "now wave" hip-pop band The Power of 3, as well as industrial goth rockers, 'universal black'. Early years Voltage began her musical quest at the age of 3, with formal ballet, tap, and jazz dance training at Rita Ruth's Conservatory of Dance in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, where she continued on until graduation. At the age of five, her father brought home a piano and she began to teach herself to play with the aid of a few John Thompson books. With no formal training, she enrolled in an Improvisation class in high school and managed to get into Berklee College of Music based on the recommendation of her teacher, Louis Mazza. Mick Mercer (born Bichael Bercer, 2 June 1957) is a journalist and author best known for his books, photos and reviews of the goth, punk and indie music scenes. Life and work Mercer is primarily a writer focused on the gothic scene and its music. He has also photographed bands from the punk era onwards. He published a monthly online magazine, ''The Mick'', for over ten years and now hosts a weekly live internet radio show, ''Mick Mercer Radio''. Mercer ran one of the first punk fanzines, ''Panache'', from 1976 to 1992. In 1978, he began writing for British music paper ''Record Mirror'', then freelanced for ''ZigZag'' magazine, later becoming its editor until the magazine folded in 1986. Malcolm Dome
Malcolm Dome (1955 – 29 October 2021) was an English music journalist. He wrote about rock and heavy metal from 1979. In addition to writing books, he was a journalist for ''Record Mirror'', ''Kerrang!'', ''Metal Hammer'' and ''Classic Rock'' among others. Dome co-founded the UK's first rock radio station, TotalRock, along with ''Friday Rock Show'' DJ Tommy Vance and producer Tony Wilson. After 17 years with the station, Dome left in March 2014 to join Team Rock full-time. Dome is credited with the term "thrash metal". It was first referred to by the music press in ''Kerrang!'' by Dome while making a reference to the Anthrax song "Metal Thrashing Mad" in issue number 62, page 8, published on 23 February 1984. John Winston Ono Lennon (born John Winston Lennon; 9 October 19408 December 1980) was an English singer, songwriter, musician and peace activist who achieved worldwide fame as founder, co-songwriter, co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Beatles.
