Sarimah Ibrahim
Che Puan Sarimah binti Ibrahim (born 19 February 1978) is a Malaysian television host, radio announcer, actress and singer. Personal life Sarimah was born in Dublin, Ireland to a Malaysian father of Malays descent, Ibrahim Ahmad from Batu Pahat, Johor and an Irish mother from Kilkenny, Ireland. She is the eldest of four siblings. She spent her secondary school years at Emirates International School in Dubai. She also attends Wesley College, Dublin where she obtained her O-Levels. Sarimah holds an Advanced Diploma in Psychology from College of Allied Educators in Singapore and Bachelor's Degree of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University in Malaysia. Career In 2001, she released her debut album “Sarimah”. In 2009, she became the first Malaysian celebrity to host the first season of ''The Biggest Loser Asia'' on Hallmark Channel Asia. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several Provinces of Indonesia, provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. References to Brunei and Indonesia are given when pertinent. In Malaysia, all non-hereditary titles can be granted to both men and women. Every title has a form which can be used by the wife of the title holder. This form is not used by the husband of a titled woman; such a woman will bear a title which is the same as a titled man. The Biggest Loser Asia (season 1)
''The Biggest Loser Asia'' is a reality television series that began broadcasting on the Hallmark Channel in Asia on November 24, 2009. The show is a spin-off of the American programme The Biggest Loser, in which overweight and obese contestants attempt to lose weight for a large sum of money. David Gurnani emerged as the champion of the first season, winning US$100,000 and Renault sponsored by TC Euro Cars. The first season was recorded at the A Famosa Resort in Malacca, Malaysia during late 2009. It is hosted by Malaysian television personality, Sarimah Ibrahim. Tunku Ampuan Najihah binti Almarhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin (Jawi alphabet, Jawi: تونكو امڤوان ناجحة بنت المرحوم تونكو بسر برهان الدين; born 1 September 1923) is the Tunku Ampuan of Negeri Sembilan. She was formerly the Tunku Ampuan Besar or Queen of Negeri Sembilan from 1967 to 2008. She also served as Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia between 1994 and 1999. Yamtuan, also known officially as Yang di-Pertuan Besar and unofficially as Grand Ruler, is the royal title of the ruler of the states and federal territories of Malaysia, Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. The Grand Ruler of Negeri Sembilan is elected by a council of ruling chiefs in the state, or the ''Undangs''. This royal practice has been followed since 1773.
