Sargam (1995 Film)
''Sargam'' ( ur, ) is a Pakistani musical Urdu film directed by Syed Noor starring the singer Adnan Sami and his ex-wife Zeba Bakhtiar. The film was Adnan Sami 's first and last appearance in any Pakistani film. A classical musician Maharaj Ghulam Hussain Kathak appeared as an actor in this film. The song 'Woh Mujhey Yaad Aaya' was sung by the Pakistani pop artist Hadiqa Kiyani. This film won eight Nigar Awards in 1995. Syed Noor
Syed Noor (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ) (born Syed Ghulam Mohyuddin Noor) is a Pakistani film director based in Lahore. In 1970 Syed Noor joined the Pakistani film industry as an assistant to director S. Suleman. Noor assisted S. Suleman for 18 feature films, after which, he penned his first script for the film, "Society Girl" in 1976, which was considered the best film of the year. After the success of his first film, Noor became the prime screenwriting talent in the Pakistani film industry and worked with all the prominent directors of the time. Syed Noor wrote about 250 films from 1976 to 1992. His written scripts and screenplays were both in Urdu and in Punjabi. As a writer, Noor won many awards in his career, including National Award, Nigaar Award, Graduate Award, Bolan Award, and Asian Award. Muzaffar Warsi
Muzaffar Warsi (23 December 1933 – 28 January 2011; ur, مظفر وارثی) was a Pakistani poet, essayist, lyricist, and a scholar of Urdu. He began writing more than five decades ago. He wrote a rich collection of na`ats, as well as several anthologies of ghazals and nazms, and his autobiography ''Gaye Dinon Ka Suraagh''. He also wrote quatrains for Pakistan's daily newspaper '' Nawa-i-Waqt''. Early life and career Muzaffar Warsi was born as Muhammad Muzaffar ud Din Siddiqui into the family of Alhaaj Muhammad Sharf ud Din Ahmad known as Sufi Warsi ( ur, صوفی وارثی). Hadiqa Kiani (in Punjabi and ur, ) is a Pakistani singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, composer, actress, and philanthropist. She has received numerous local and international awards and also has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and The Kennedy Center. Ustad Hamid Ali Khan ( ur, ; born 1953) is a Pakistani classical singer. He belongs to the Patiala gharana. Riaz-Ur-Rehman Saghar ( Punjabi, ur, ریاض الرحمان ساغر, (born 1 December 1941, Bathinda, Punjab, British India; died 1 June 2013, at Lahore, Pakistan) was a poet and a film song lyricist active in Pakistani cinema. He had been awarded numerous awards in recognition of his services to the Pakistani film industry.
