Sarel Francois Burger (born 13 February 1983) is a Namibian former cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He played in two One Day Internationals in the Cricket World Cup in 2003. He also participated in List A cricket between 2001 and 2004 and participated in the ICC Trophy in July 2005. His brother Louis Burger played for Namibia in the World Cup, while Bernie Burger has played in the ICC Trophy. Sarel Cilliers
Charl (Sarel) Arnoldus Cilliers (7 September 1801 – 4 October 1871) was a Voortrekker leader and a preacher. With Andries Pretorius, he led the Boers to a huge victory over the Zulus at the Battle of Blood River in 1838. In particular, Cilliers lead the Voortrekkers in a vow which promised that if God would protect them and deliver the enemy into their hands, they would build a church and commemorate the day of their victory as if it were an annual Sabbath day, which their descendants would also be instructed to honour. He was a prominent member of the ''Gereformeerde Kerk'' (Reformed Church), an offshoot of the Dutch Reformed Church. He is described as being a short, stout man, and was believed to have been very religious. He joined the Great Trek at the age of thirty-five. Sarel de Jong (born 16 July 1996) is a Dutch kickboxer who has been professionally competing since 2016, and is currently signed with Enfusion. She is the reigning Enfusion Bantamweight champion. Sarel Johannes Pretorius (born 18 April 1984) is a South African rugby player who plays at scrum half for the in the Pro14. During 2007–2011 he played in the Currie Cup for Griquas and made his Super Rugby debut for the in 2009 against the Western Force. In 2010 and 2011 he played in every match. In the 2011 Super Rugby competition he equalled Bjorn Basson from the Bulls as the top tryscorer with nine tries. Sarel Daniel van der Merwe (born 5 December 1946) is a former rally and racing driver, who was a multiple South African Rally Drivers Champion. He is referred to by his nickname "Supervan".
