Abdul Rehman Khetran is a Pakistani politician who had been the Provincial Minister of Balochistan from 9 September 2018 to 12 August 2023. He ha: been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan from August 2018 to August 2023. Previously, he was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan from May 2013 to May 2018. Provincial Assembly Of Balochistan
The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. The Assembly has 51 directly elected Members of the Provincial Assembly, representing constituencies from each district, as well as 11 seats reserved for women and 3 for non-Muslims. Jam Mir Kamal Khan Alyani (; born 1 January 1970) is a Pakistani politician who served as the 16th Chief Minister of Balochistan, between August 2018 and October 2021. He has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan since August 2018. Previously, he was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from June 2013 to May 2018 and served as Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources in the cabinet of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from 2013 to 2017 and again from August 2017 to March 2018 in the cabinet of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. Kohlu district ( bal, کوہلو, ur, ) is a district of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is bounded in the north by Loralai District, Dera Bugti in the south, Barkhan in the east, and Sibi District in the west. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 213,933, of which 112,124 were males and 101,809 females. Rural population was 196,490 (91.85%) while the urban population was 17,443 (8.15%). The literacy rate was 18.77% - the male literacy rate was 25.91% while the female literacy rate was 10.48%. 289 people in the district were from religious minorities. At the time of the 2017 census, 93.15% of the population spoke Balochi and 5.09% Pashto as their first language. Marri (tribe)
The Marri are a Balochi-speaking tribe of the Baloch people, who inhabit a large arid region in northeastern Balochistan, Pakistan. The Marri area is bounded to the west by the plains of Sibi. To the north are the Kakar and Loni tribes of the Pashtuns; to the east lie the lands of the Khetrans, speakers of an Indo-Aryan language, Khetrani; to the south the Bugti tribe.
