Madras Rajagopalan Radhakrishnan Ravi (born 29 July 1952) is an Indian actor and politician who played supporting roles throughout his career. He is the son of actor M. R. ''CID Shankar'' is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language spy thriller film, directed by R. Sundaram, produced by Modern Theatres and written by A. L. Narayanan. Music was by Vedha. It stars Jaishankar, A. Sakunthala, and Thengai Srinivasan. V. S. Raghavan, R. S. Manohar, C. L. Anandan, Jayakumari, B. V. Radha and M. Bhanumathi play supporting roles. Jaishankar (12 July 1938 – 3 June 2000) was an Indian actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. He was a very popular lead actor in the 1960s and 70s. He was credited onscreen with title of ''Makkal Kalaingnar'' (people's artiste) or ''Makkal Thamizhan'' (people's Tamil) in most films starring him. Subramaniyan Karuppaiya (born 25 May 1939), known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. He is known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. The pair dominated the Tamil industry as comedians in the 1980s and 90s. He was called Goundamani after acting as a Gounder in one of his early day dramas and the pseudonym stuck with him forever.
