Sarah Myriam Mazouz (born 29 April 1987), also known as Sarah-Myriam Mazouz, is a Gabonese judoka. She competed in Judo at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's 78 kg event, in which she was eliminated in the second round by Natalie Powell. In 2019, Mazouz won one of the bronze medals in the women's 78 kg event at the 2019 African Judo Championships held in Cape Town, South Africa. She also won the gold medal in the women's 78 kg event at the 2019 African Games. Franceville
Franceville is one of the four largest cities in Gabon, with a population of 110,568 at the 2013 census. It lies on the Mpassa River and at the end of the Trans-Gabon Railway and the N3 road. It grew from a village named Masuku when Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza chose it to resettle former slaves and renamed it Francheville (meaning "city of the freed") in 1880. Natalie Powell (born 16 October 1990) is a Welsh judoka. She competed for Wales in the event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where she won a gold medal. Judo career Powell is a four times champion of Great Britain, winning the half-heavyweight division at the British Judo Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016. The gold and silver medals were determined by a single-elimination tournament, with the winner of the final taking gold and the loser receiving silver. Judo events awarded two bronze medals.
