Sara Lynn Evans (; born February 5, 1971) is an American country music singer and songwriter. She is also credited as a record producer, actress, and author. She had five songs reach the number one spot on the ''Billboard'' country songs chart and has sold over six million albums. Nine additional singles have reached the top ten of the ''Billboard'' country chart, including " I Could Not Ask for More", " I Keep Looking" and " Cheatin'". Among her top 20 charting singles are "Saints & Angels", "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" and " As If". She has won accolades from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. She has also been nominated for several more accolades from both associations, including Female Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year. Boonville is a city and the county seat of Cooper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 7,964 at the 2020 census. The city was the site of a skirmish early in the Civil War, on July 17, 1861. Union forces defeated the Missouri State Guard in the first Battle of Boonville. New Franklin is a city in Howard County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,027 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Columbia, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community is northeast of and uphill from Franklin, a flood-prone historic community which was the eastern terminus of the Santa Fe Trail. History Franklin was laid out in 1816.
