Sarah Cumming is an Australian journalist. Career Cumming completed her Journalism degree at the University of South Australia, where she majored in International Relations. She covered many stories and gained a wealth of experience at a number of places including Southern Cross Ten in Canberra, DMG Regional Radio in North Queensland. She was also a general news reporter and fill in presenter on ''Seven News'' Adelaide and she was a part of the news team at Nova 91.9 Adelaide. In 2007, Cumming moved to Sydney to work as a reporter for ''Seven News'', where she was a fill in weather presenter for Sara Groen and covered for Natalie Barr on ''Sunrise''. In February 2010, Cumming was appointed as Saturday news presenter on ''Weekend Sunrise'' she however left this position due to becoming a weather presenter on '' Seven News Sydney''. The Seven Network (commonly known as Channel Seven or simply Seven) is a major Australian commercial free-to-air Television broadcasting in Australia, television network. It is owned by Seven West Media, Seven West Media Limited, and is one of five main free-to-air television networks in Australia. The network's headquarters are located in Sydney. Jessica Rowe
Jessica June Rowe (born 22 June 1970) is an Australian journalist, author and television presenter. She was the co-host of ''Studio 10'' on Network Ten until March 2018, and is Member of the Order of Australia for her mental health advocacy. Early life Rowe attended Sydney Girls High School and Charles Sturt University, Bathurst, completing a Bachelor of Arts in 1993. During her studies she was a broadcaster with on-campus community radio station 2MCE-FM. Rowe later graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of International Studies degree in 2003. Stuart Dew
Stuart Dew (born 18 August 1979) is an Australian rules football coach and former player who is currently the head coach of the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League (AFL). As a player he played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. Dew was acknowledged as being a long penetrating left foot kick of the football. Playing career Port Adelaide (1997–2006) Dew made his debut with the Port Adelaide in 1997, their inaugural year in the AFL. But it was not until the 1998 season that he received regular selection. Dew became an important player for the Power as evidenced during the 2004 season when he kicked 31 goals and was a part of the club's premiership win. The show featured a combination of live breaking news, as well as live interviews with various personalities and entertainment updates, and aired between 2pm and 3pm on weekdays. History The show premiered on Monday 17 June 2013 and initially aired from 3pm to 4:30pm with hosts Sally Obermeder, Monique Wright and Kris Smith. In its first episode, retired newsreader Ian Ross was the first studio guest of the show and singer Robin Thicke was interviewed in a pre-recorded package. The first episode rated 71,000 across the metro audience, well behind rival program ''Nine News Now'' at 136,000 viewers. Its midnight replay was watched by 80,000 viewers. David Brown (meteorologist)
David Brown (born 12 July 1959, in Sydney) is former Australian retired meteorologist for ''Seven News''. Brown was formerly the weather presenter on '' Seven News Sydney'', as well as on the national '' Seven Morning News'' and '' Seven Afternoon News'' bulletins, on ''Sunrise'' and ''Seven News Melbourne''. Career Brown graduated from Caulfield Institute of Technology (now part of Monash University) in 1981 with a B.App.Sc. degree. He then worked at the Bureau of Meteorology before becoming a weather presenter, initially on Network Ten. Brown is one of few television weather presenters who is also a meteorologist. ''Weekend Sunrise'' is an Australian breakfast television program, broadcast on the Seven Network and currently hosted by Monique Wright and Matt Doran. History In 2005 the Seven Network replaced its struggling Sunday morning program ''Sunday Sunrise'' with a program called ''Weekend Sunrise'', as an extension of the weekday brand. It originally was an hour-long (8 am – 9 am). Hosted by Chris Reason and Lisa Wilkinson, the program was successful and various critiques at the time called for the program to be lengthened to two hours (7:00 am – 9:00 am) and be extended to Saturday mornings as well as Sunday.
