Sarah Champion (presenter)
Sarah Champion (born 22 August 1977) is an English television presenter, disc jockey and actress. Professional career Champion has hosted ''The Official Chart, The Official Album Chart Show'', ''Planet Celebrity News'' and ''Radio Gaga'' for MTV UK, MTV networks, acted in ''Jonathan Creek'' for BBC One and ITV2 sitcom ''FM (2009 TV series), FM''. On 20 July 2005, Champion began working for British radio station Virgin Radio and remained on the station after it was rebranded as Absolute Radio in 2008. She currently presents an 11am to 2pm weekend show on Absolute Radio. She also presents a 10am to 1pm weekday show on its sister station Absolute 80s, where she also presents The Absolute 80s Singles Chart 4pm to 7pm on Sundays. She covers the Night Shift show on an occasional basis. In November and December 2020, Champion covered the 7pm-10pm weeknight show on Absolute Radio whilst the show's usual presenter Danielle Perry was on maternity leave. Harold Wood, Essex
Harold Wood is a suburban neighbourhood of Romford in the London Borough of Havering. It is situated east-northeast of Charing Cross and near to the Greater London boundary with Essex. History Toponymy The name Harold Wood was recorded in about 1237, when it was shown as ''Horalds Wood''. It was named after King Harold Godwinson, who was defeated by William the Conqueror in 1066. He held the surrounding manor of Havering-atte-Bower. Some of the original roads are named after Anglo-Saxon kings such as Æthelstan and Alfred the Great. Local government Harold Wood formed a ward in the ancient parish of Hornchurch, although the area now around the station was in the North End ward. The eastern and southern boundary of the parish was the River Ingrebourne such that the area around Harold Court was in the parish of Upminster. Danielle Perry (born 4 June 1980) is an English radio presenter and musician. Perry studied for her BA (Hons) Music degree at Southampton University. After graduating, she started doing her apprenticeship / making the tea at various local radio stations on the south coast of England. Radio After a few years fronting shows on Power and Ocean FM for GCap Media, Perry moved to The Coast (CanWest Media) where she met triple Sony-award-winning presenters Simon James and Hill. Magic Radio is a British digital radio station owned and operated by Bauer. The station is available on 105.4 FM in London and across the UK on Digital Radio, on the Magic Radio app, television and online. It had previously been a part of a network of Magic stations broadcast on FM in London and on MW across northern England and began broadcasting across the UK via the Digital One multiplex in January 2015.
