Carlo Saraceni
Carlo Saraceni (1579 – 16 June 1620) was an Italian early-Baroque painter, whose reputation as a "first-class painter of the second rank" was improved with the publication of a modern monograph in 1968. Life Though he was born and died in Venice, his paintings are distinctly Roman in style; he moved to Rome in 1598, joining the Accademia di San Luca in 1607. He never visited France, though he spoke fluent French and had French followers and a French wardrobe. Giovanni Michele Saraceni (1 December 1498 – 27 April 1568) was a Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. Biography Saraceni was born in Naples and was a relative of Cardinal Fabio Mignatelli. He was the archbishop of Acerenza and Matera from 1536. On 23 Mar 1536, he was consecrated bishop by Antonio Sanseverino, Archbishop of Taranto, with Lorenzo Santarelli, Bishop of Pult, and Giacomo Ponzetti, Bishop of Molfetta, serving as co-consecrators. He was made cardinal on 20 November 1551 by Pope Julius III. Julio Saraceni
Julio Saraceni (October 10, 1912 – October 12, 1998) was a prolific Argentine film director whose career in the Cinema of Argentina as a movie director spanned six decades. He was an aviator as a young man, but later found a career in film, where he debuted as a director in a 1937 short film, ''Fórmula secreta'', in which he used his flying experience for the making of numerous scenes. He directed his first full-length title, Florencio Parravicini's comedy vehicle, ''Noches de carnaval'', later that year. Saraceni married a member of the crew, Argentina Mori, and with her made some 60 films between 1938 and 1986, such as ''María Celeste'' (1944), '' Alma de bohemio'' (1949), ''La barra de la esquina'' (1950), and ''La mejor del colegio'' (1953). Enrico Saraceni
Enrico Saraceni (born May 19, 1964 in Fossacesia, Italy) is an Italian athlete, known for setting the M40 division Masters Athletics World Record in the 400 metres. Biography His first known results date to 1995 in the European athletic competition for postal workers. In 2001 he was the Italian champion in the Indoor 400 metres, running 47.56. Later that year, he also set his personal best 46.86, at the age of 37 at Brixen, which qualified him to represent Italy in the European Cup in Bremen, Germany, as well as participating as the 3rd leg on the 4x400 relay. As a Masters athlete after turning 40 in 2004, he won the European Masters Championships at Aarhus, Denmark, winning both the 200 metres and 400 metres, setting the record at 47.81. The record was formerly held by Olympic champion Lee Evans. Fernando Saraceni
Fernando Saraceni (19 January 1891 – 1956) was an Italian footballer. His brother Luigi Saraceni was also a footballer and played as a defender for Lazio in 1920s. Fernando began his football career in 1907 and spent his entire career playing for Lazio. He played first in a forward role, but since 1921, he was deployed in a full back role. He was also the club's captain from 1919 to 1923. Saraceni scored two goals in the 1923–24 Prima Divisione season. In 1915 he served the Italian Army during the World War I. He retired from football in 1924; later he held management roles for Lazio. He died in 1956.
