Sara Keçeci
Sara Keçeci (born 21 October 1994) is a Turkish-Danish female handballer playing in goalkeeper position. She is a member of the Turkish national team. She has dual citizenship. Early years Sara was born in Sønderborg, Denmark to Mehmet Keçeci, a Turkish father, who immigrated from Diyarbakır in 1991, and a Danish mother. Her father works in a plant for manufacturing agricultural machinery, and her mother is a primary school teacher. Her father is a former footballer and basketball player, and also serves as an official at a local sports club's football team. At age five, Sara Keçeci began playing football. When she grew up, her mother drew Sara's interest to handball because she did not want her daughter to play with boys anymore. At age ten, Sara switched over to mainly handball, however continued to play football in her Hørup school team at the same time. 2016 European Women's Handball Championship Qualification
This article describes the qualification for the 2016 European Women's Handball Championship. Qualification system The draw was held in Vienna, Austria on 24 March 2015 at 11:30 local time. Sweden as host nation was directly qualified. 32 teams had registered for participation and compete for 14 places at the final tournament in 2 distinct Qualification Phases. The group winners of phase 1 advanced to phase 2. The 28 teams were divided into seven groups of four teams. The top two teams qualified for the main tournament as well as the best-ranked third placed team, where the results against the last-placed team were revoked.
