Sara Haider is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and musical and film actress from Karachi. She started her music career as a backing vocalist and later became singer at Coke Studio. She has also won a Lux Style Award after making debut in Coke Studio. Life and career Sara Haider was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She started her career as a musical actress by performing in stage musical Grease. She also performed at Ufone Uth Records and Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival in India. In 2014, Sara joined Coke Studio season 7 where she served as backing vocalist. She gained public recognition in Coke Studio season 8 where she made her debut with the song "Ae Dil" featuring Ali Zafar She has also won Lux Style Awards for "Best Emerging Talent". ''Pepsi Battle of the Bands'' is a Pakistani television series, originally based on the concept of Battle of the Bands, first aired in 2002 on PTV Home. The show was revived in 2017. Season 1 ''Pepsi Battle of the Bands: Season 1'' aired in July 2002 on PTV Home. The inaugural season was directed by Ahsan Rahim and Amena Khan, and produced by Nofil Naqvi. The winners were Aaroh, who beat runners up Entity Paradigm by a narrow margin. The ninth season of the Pakistani music television series '' Coke Studio'' commenced airing in Pakistan on 13 August 2016, concluded on 24 September 2016 and contained seven episodes. Season nine aired Fridays (digitally) and Saturdays (televised), on various timings and channels across the country. The eighth season of the Pakistani music television series '' Coke Studio'' premiered on 16 August 2015 and aired its finale on 4 October 2015. It aired a weekly episode every Sunday on various channels across Pakistan. The season was revived under the tagline of ''The Sound of Nation''. The debut producers of season 7, Strings duo and series regular producer Coca-Cola, continued their journey as producers in this season. Earlier, rumours were made that Rohail Hyatt would be back as a producer this season but he denied rumors saying "Just for the record, I'm not producing the next season of Coke Studio Pakistan (2015).......
