Hoegeng Iman Santoso
Hoegeng (born Iman Santoso; 14 October 1921 – 14 July 2004) was a Chief of the Indonesian National Police. Hoegeng is historically renowned for being the most courageous and most honest police officer in Indonesia. Hoegeng lived in an era where many government officials were corrupt. Abdurrahman Wahid, former president of Indonesia, once praised Hoegeng's honesty, saying that "there are only 3 kinds of honest policemen in the country: ''polisi tidur'' (speed bump, literally "sleeping police"), a police statue, and Hoegeng". He was two-time Southeast Asian Games men's singles champion winning in 2009 and 2011, also featured in Indonesia team that won the men's team title in 2003, 2007, 2009, and 2011. Ryan Santoso (born August 26, 1995) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He played college football at Minnesota. College career Recruiting profile Santoso was the seventh-ranked kicker and a two-star recruit out of Pace High School in Pace, Florida. He signed a letter of intent to play college football at the University of Minnesota on December 25, 2012. Minnesota Santoso redshirted during the 2013 season. Mona Santoso (born 17 August 1982) is an Indonesian former badminton player, and later represented United States. Santoso was part of the Indonesia national team from 1998 to 2000. Maria Ulfah Soebadio Sastrosatomo (18 August 1911 – 15 April 1988), better known by her first married name Maria Ulfah Santoso, was an Indonesian politician and women's rights activist who served as Minister of Social Affairs under Prime Minister Sutan Sjahrir. She was the first Indonesian woman to receive a degree in law as well as the first female Indonesian cabinet member. Santoso, the daughter of a politician, became interested in women's rights after seeing numerous injustices in her youth. Despite pressure to become a doctor, she graduated with a degree in law from Leiden University in 1933; while in the Netherlands she also became involved in the Indonesian nationalist movement.
