Santosh Kumar (actor)
Syed Musa Abbas Raza, ( ur, ; 25 December 1925 – 11 June 1982) better known as Santosh Kumar ( ur, ), was a Pakistani film actor who was popular in the 1950s and 1960s. He was from an Urdu-speaking family from Lahore, Pakistan. His brother Darpan was also a film actor during the same period, while his other brother S. Suleman was a film director. Early life and career Santosh Kumar's birth name was Syed Musa Raza. He was born in 1925 in Lahore, British India. He graduated from Osmania University, Hyderabad, British India. After the Partition of India in 1947, Santosh Kumar migrated to Lahore, Pakistan with his family. Owing to his education and awareness, Santosh Kumar was always designated to lead the entourage to represent Pakistan in meetings held abroad, and because of this became known as the foreign minister of the Pakistani film industry. Santosh Kumar (politician)
Santosh Kumar is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament representing the Purnia constituency in Bihar. He was first elected in the 2014 Indian general election, having run as the Janata Dal (United) candidate in the constituency. In 2010 he was also elected as Member of Legislative assembly of the Baisi (Vidhan Sabha constituency) of Purnea district as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. One month before 2014 lok sabha election he joined JD(U) as he was nominated as the party candidate for Lok Sabha election for Purnea constituency. Life and political career Born to Nevilal Vishwash and Ramsakhi Devi in 1976, Santosh's education was completed in Purnea from Surya Narayan Singh college, Rambagh. Muringothumalil Santosh Kumar (born 12 May 1975) is an Indian professional football referee who officiates primarily in the I-League and Indian Super League. In 2012 it was announced that Kumar would be one of three referees in India to be made professional by the All India Football Federation. Personal life and career Born in Kerala, Kumar grew up in a village that was very passionate about football. He played for small local clubs, earning Rs. 200 per match. Eventually though, due to injury and financial problems, Kumar had to give up playing football, instead, focusing on refereeing the game. He started out as a referee in the 1990s for local village games. He passed his written and physical exam for refereeing in 1996. Kumar started to referee matches at the local and regional levels but also took up other jobs in order to pay his bills after passing his exam.
