Syed Musa Raza
Syed Musa Abbas Raza, ( ur, ; 25 December 1925 – 11 June 1982) better known as Santosh Kumar ( ur, ), was a Pakistani film actor who was popular in the 1950s and 1960s. He was from an Urdu-speaking family from Lahore, Pakistan. His brother Darpan was also a film actor during the same period, while his other brother S. Suleman was a film director. Early life and career Santosh Kumar's birth name was Syed Musa Raza. He was born in 1925 in Lahore, British India. He graduated from Osmania University, Hyderabad, British India. After the Partition of India in 1947, Santosh Kumar migrated to Lahore, Pakistan with his family. Santosh Kumar Ghosh (9 September 1920 – 26 February 1985) was an Indian Bengali litterateur and a journalist of repute. Early life Born in Faridpur district of what is now in Bangladesh, Santosh Kumar had his ancestral house in Barisal district. Son of Suresh Chandra Ghosh and Sarajubala Devi, he passed the Matriculation examination with a first division scoring very high percentage in both Bengali and mathematics. Santosh Rana (1942 – 29 June 2019) was an Indian politician. In the 1960s, he was a prominent figure in the armed struggle of the Naxalites led by Charu Majumdar. Rana received Ananda Puraskar for his book ''Rajnitir Ek Jibon'' in 2018. Agrarian revolutionary In the 1960s, Santosh Rana was a research scholar at University of Calcutta, Rajabazar Science College. He was preparing for his PhD in physics. Politically he was a supporter of the CPI(M). The first United Front government came to power in West Bengal in 1967 and in 1969 CPI(ML) heralded the launch of a new revolutionary party. Santosh Dutta (Bengali: সন্তোষ দত্ত; 2 December 1925 – 5 March 1988) was a Bengali actor, best known for playing the character of Jatayu in Satyajit Ray's Feluda movie series ''Sonar Kella'' and '' Joi Baba Felunath''. Early life Dutta was a lawyer by profession. Essentially a comedian, he elevated comedy acting to the levels of character roles. Satyajit Ray gave him the first break with a small role in his immortal film ''Parash Pathar''.
