Santino Rocchetti
Santino Rocchetti (born Sante Rocchetti on 13 July 1946) is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. Life and career Born in Montalto di Castro, Viterbo, Italy, Rocchetti started his career as founder and lead member of the group "I Rokketti". After a number of experiences in other groups, he started a solo career in 1975, getting an immediate hit with the song "Pelle di sole", which ranked #15 on the Italian hit parade. Between 1976 and 1978 he entered the competition at the Sanremo Music Festival three times, ranking sixth in 1978 with the song "Armonia e poesia". Starting from the 1980s he focused his activities on live performances and concerts. Montalto Di Castro
Montalto di Castro is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Lazio, located about northwest of Rome and about west of Viterbo. It is home to a large fossil fuel powered power plant managed by ENEL and the largest solar PV power plant in Italy. Viterbo
Viterbo (; Viterbese: ; lat-med, Viterbium) is a city and ''comune'' in the Lazio region of central Italy, the capital of the province of Viterbo. It conquered and absorbed the neighboring town of Ferento (see Ferentium) in its early history. It is approximately north of GRA (Rome) on the Via Cassia, and it is surrounded by the Monti Cimini and Monti Volsini. The Sanremo Music Festival, officially the Italian Song Festival () and commonly known as just (), is the most popular Italian song contest and awards ceremony, held annually in the city of Sanremo, Liguria. Fonit Cetra
Fonit Cetra was an Italian record label, active between 1957 and 2000. History Fonit Cetra was founded in 1957 from merging two already existing labels: Cetra (acronym from Compagnia per edizioni, teatro, registrazioni ed affini), owned by RAI and previously EIAR, and (acronym from Fonodisco Italiano Trevisan), founded in 1911 in Milan. Both labels had already been popular, thanks to such artists as Nilla Pizzi, Achille Togliani, Natalino Otto and Domenico Modugno. Fonit Cetra continued to use two old names on their records and maintained two different offices, in Turin and Milan, until the 1970s, when the main headquarters were relocated to Milan. In July 1987, the company's name was changed to Nuova Fonit Cetra. In 1997, it became part of RAI Trade, however, in 1998, it was sold to Warner Music Group which acquired its catalogue.
