Santiago Metro Line 1
Santiago Metro Line 1 is the oldest of the seven existing rapid transit lines that make up the Santiago Metro system. Being its busiest, it has a total of 27 stations along its length, constructed almost entirely underground (save for some open cut sections in the west), and is located primarily along the axis formed by the Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins (Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins Avenue, also known as the “Alameda”), Providencia Avenue and Apoquindo Avenue. In 2015, Line 1 accounted for 39.5% of all trips made on the metro system with a daily ridership of 705,200, making it the busiest line in the system. Manquehue Metro Station
Manquehue is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is part of the eastern extension of the Line 1. The station was opened on 7 January 2010 as part of the extension of the line from Escuela Militar to Los Dominicos, The station consists of a platform tunnel and three transepts containing a mezzanine each, which are connected by a bridge that is suspended from the tunnel ceiling by tie rods. Las Rejas Metro Station
Las Rejas is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile, Santiago, Chile. It was built in cut-and-cover method. The station was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo metro station, San Pablo and La Moneda metro station, La Moneda. Stairways at each corner of the concourse mezzanine connect with the platform level. The mezzanine is accessed from ground level via four entrances, two on each side of the Alameda Avenue. Each pair of entrances converge into a single corridor that leads to the mezzanine. The station features an exposed concrete beam ceiling and its walls are decorated with blue-gray ceramic tiles, which replaced the original mosaic covering. Curved blue panels over the platforms form a sort of large cove molding. Santa Lucia (in Spanish: ''Saint Lucy''), is a station on the Santiago Metro in Santiago, Chile. It is underground, between the stations Universidad de Chile and Universidad Católica on the same line. It is located on Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, in the commune of Santiago. The station was opened on 31 March 1977 as part of the extension of the line from La Moneda to Salvador. It has a regular flow of passengers that increases during the Metro's rush hours (mornings and afternoons). The station is in a mix of residential, business and educational zones. Los Héroes Metro Station
Los Héroes is a rapid transit station of the Santiago Metro system, being an interchange point in between lines 1 and Santiago Metro Line 2. It located at the intersection of Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins and the Norte-Sur branch of the Autopista Central, which is considered the kilometre zero of Chile. The Line 1 station was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda. The Line 2 station was opened on 31 March 1978 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of this line, to Franklin. On 15 September 1987 the line was extended to Puente Cal y Canto.
