Santiago Hernández (rugby Union)
Santiago Hernández Vega (born 11 September 1992 in Medellín) is a Colombian former Grand Prix motorcycle racer, and the younger brother of former MotoGP racer Yonny Hernández. He has previously raced in the Spanish CEV Moto2 Series and in the Spanish Supersport Championship. Career Moto2 World Championship 2010 He participated in his first Grand Prix race at the age of 18, at the 2010 Aragon Grand Prix. Riding for Matteoni C.P. Racing as a replacement for Lukas Pesek, on a Moriwaki MD600 in the Moto2 class, he finished 23rd out of 28 riders, 45 seconds behind winner Andrea Iannone. He was the fourth out of five Moriwaki mounted riders who finished the race. He was then replaced for the next race by Ferruccio Lamborghini. 2011 In 2011, Hernandez joined the Thai Honda Singha SAG SAG Team and raced a FTR Moto M211. 2010 Qatar Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2010 Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix, officially the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar, was the opening round of the 2010 MotoGP championship. It took place on the weekend of 9–11 April 2010 at the Losail International Circuit located in Doha, Qatar. Spectator attendance was 7302. Defending world champion Valentino Rossi won the opening MotoGP race after Casey Stoner crashed while in the lead, ending his undefeated streak from 2007. This was also the first race for the newly formed Moto2 class, which was introduced as a replacement for the 250cc two-stroke class. All bikes in this class were powered with 600cc four-stroke engines based on the Honda CBR600RR. The 2010 Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix was the thirteenth round of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 17–19 September 2010 at the Motorland Aragón circuit. 2010 San Marino And Rimini's Coast Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2010 San Marino and Rimini Riviera motorcycle Grand Prix was the twelfth round of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 3–5 September 2010 at the Misano World Circuit. The event was marred by the death of Shoya Tomizawa from injuries sustained in a crash during the Moto2 race. Death of Shoya Tomizawa During the 12th lap of the Moto2 race, Shoya Tomizawa was riding in fourth position in a seven-bike pack. The pack consisted of Toni Elías who was leading the race, followed by Simone Corsi, Julián Simón, Tomizawa, Alex de Angelis, Scott Redding and Jules Cluzel. During a support event for MotoGP, the second of two United States Grand Prix Racer Union 250cc (age 12–18) races during the race meet on August 29, 13-year-old Peter Lenz was killed during the warmup lap before the start. 2010 German Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2010 German motorcycle Grand Prix was the eighth round of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 16–18 July 2010 at the Sachsenring, located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Germany. MotoGP classification After a four-round absence due to a broken leg sustained at the Mugello Circuit, Valentino Rossi made his return to the MotoGP grid. A crash between Randy de Puniet, Álvaro Bautista and Aleix Espargaró caused the race to be red-flagged on the 10th lap. All three riders were eligible to make the restart as the results of the first race go back to the last lap therefore showing the riders being classified. The 2010 British motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2010 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 18–20 June 2010 at Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone.
