Santi Freixa
Santiago "Santi" Freixa i Escudé (born 13 February 1983) is a Spanish field hockey coach and former player who played for the Spain national team as a forward. In November 2015, Freixa received the Athletes in Excellence Award from The Foundation for Global Sports Development, in recognition of his community service efforts and work with youth. Club career Freixa played in Spain for his local club Atètic Terrassa until 2006, when he joined Dutch club Amsterdam in Amstelveen. In 2015 he announced his retirement from professional field hockey. He still played a few matches for the first team of Amsterdam the next season because of an injury crisis. He was the head coach of the first women's team of SV Kampong from 2016 until 2019. In April 2019, he agreed to be the head coach of the first men's team of his former club Amsterdam from the 2019–20 season onwards. Terrassa
Terrassa (, es, Tarrasa) is a city in the east central region of Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Barcelona, ''comarca'' of Vallès Occidental, of which it is the co-capital along with Sabadell. Robert Van Der Horst
Robert Adriaan van der Horst (; born 17 October 1984) is a Dutch former field hockey player who played as a defender and currently the assistant coach of the first men's team of Oranje-Rood. He played a total of 272 caps for the Dutch national team, which makes him the seventh most capped Dutch player of all time. He scored 14 goals in his international career which lasted from 2004 until 2016. The defender was the captain of the national teams that finished fourth at the 2008 and 2016 Olympics and won a silver medal in 2012. He played club hockey for Oranje Zwart, Rotterdam and Oranje-Rood. Grant Schubert
Grant Schubert ( OAM) (born 1 August 1980 in Loxton, South Australia) is a field hockey striker from Australia, who won the gold medal with the Men's National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He was named ''World Hockey Young Player of the Year'' by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) in December 2003. Schubert now lives in Western Australia. Schubert was honoured as the most promising player at the 2003 Champions Trophy with nine goals in six matches. Earlier that year, on 9 July, he made his debut for ''The Kookaburras'' in a friendly match against Germany in Neuss. He played club hockey in The Netherlands after the Athens Games, first for Kampong in Utrecht, and after the relegation for HC Klein Zwitserland in The Hague. The men's field hockey tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics was the 22nd edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held over a thirteen-day period beginning on 30 July, and culminating with the medal finals on 11 August. All games were played at the Riverbank Arena within the Olympic Park in London, United Kingdom.
