Santa Semeli and the Monks is a music group formed in London in 2014 by Semeli Economou and Haraldur Ágústsson. Semeli and Haraldur first met in 2012 when Semeli cast Haraldur in her short film ''The Burning Bush''. The name Santa Semeli and the Monks originated from Semeli's philosophy that religion should serve art. Monks symbolize dedication to a greater cause thus making music and art the priority. The group sees entertainment as the most beautiful and enjoyable way to convey messages. In June 2014 Santa Semeli and the Monks released their first single ‘Arrivederci Bob’ under their label Cosima Music. The song reached number 3 in the Cyprus i-Tunes charts. CBGB was a New York City music club opened in 1973 by Hilly Kristal in Manhattan's East Village. The club was previously a biker bar and before that was a dive bar. The letters ''CBGB'' were for '' Country'', '' BlueGrass'', and '' Blues'', Kristal's original vision, yet CBGB soon became a famed venue of punk rock and new wave bands like the Ramones, Television, Patti Smith Group, Blondie, and Talking Heads. Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation ( gr, Ραδιοφωνικό Ίδρυμα Κύπρου , tr, Kıbrıs Radyo Yayın Kurumu), or CyBC (ΡΙΚ, KRYK), is Cyprus' public broadcasting service. It transmits island-wide on four radio and two domestic television channels, and uses one satellite channel for the Cypriot diaspora. It also transmits on a separate high definition channel.
