Guam (; ch, Guåhan ) is an organized, unincorporated territory of the United States in the Micronesia subregion of the western Pacific Ocean. Mangilao
Mangilao is a Villages of Guam, village on the eastern shore of the United States territory of Guam. The village's population has decreased slightly since the island's 2010 census. Cliffs lie along much of the village's shoreline provide dramatic views, including of Pago Bay along Mangilao's southern coastline, but few of Mangilao's beaches are available for recreational uses. University Of Guam
University of Guam ( ch, Unibetsedåt Guåhan) (U.O.G.) is a public land-grant university in Mangilao, Guam. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and offers thirty-four degree programs at the undergraduate level and eleven at the master's level. Of the university's 3,387 students, 94% are of Asian-Pacific Islander ethnicity and nearly 72% are full-time (fall 2012 figures). A full-time faculty of about 180 work at the university. Guam Community College (GCC) is a community college in Mangilao, Guam. It was officially created by Public Law 14–77 in 1977. This law created the college by consolidating several pre-existing programs from a variety of institutions, including the Adult Evening School of the Guam Department of Education, the Community Career College of the University of Guam, the Apprenticeship Training Program of the University of Guam, and other programs originally created by Guam's Department of Labor and the Guam Police Department. Japanese School Of Guam
The is a Japanese international school in Mangilao, Guam. It includes both day school and weekend supplementary school divisions, and the school also holds Japanese language classes. As of April 2013 Toyohito Yoneyama is the chairperson of the school. History Prior to the establishment of the day school, Japanese children in Guam attended a special supplementary Japanese school. The Guam Japanese Association began considering making one in March 1972 and it opened by May 1973. Harvest Christian Academy (Guam)
Harvest Christian Academy (HCA) is a private school, private Christian school in Barrigada, Guam. The school offers open enrollment for grades K-12. HCA is administrated by and closely associated with Harvest Baptist Church (HBC). HBC was started in 1975 as a missionary church. The school was started the same year for the children of the congregation members. Over the years, the school's enrollment was opened to the community of Guam and now enrolls nearly 1,000 students each year in K3-12th grade. Harvest Ministries, Guam now also owns and operates KHMG radio station. The campus is spread out on consisting of classrooms for kindergarten, elementary, junior and senior high.
