Sanremo Music Festival 1971
The Sanremo Music Festival 1971 ( it, Festival di Sanremo 1971), officially the 21st Italian Song Festival (), was the 21st annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Sanremo Casino in Sanremo, province of Imperia between 25 and 27 February 1971. The final night was broadcast by Rai 1, while the first two nights were broadcast live only by radio. The show was presented by actors Carlo Giuffrè and Elsa Martinelli. According to the rules of this edition every song was performed in a double performance by a couple of singers or groups. The winners of the Festival were Nicola Di Bari and Nada with the song "Il cuore è uno zingaro "Il cuore è uno zingaro" (Italian for "The heart is a gypsy") is a song composed by Franco Migliacci (lyrics) and Claudio Mattone (music). Carlo Giuffrè
Carlo Giuffrè (3 December 1928 – 1 November 2018) was an Italian stage, film and television actor and a stage director. He appeared in more than 90 films between 1942 and 2002. Biography Giuffrè was born in Naples, Italy and was the brother of the actor Aldo Giuffrè. He enrolled at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts Silvio D'Amico, then he made his stage debut in 1949 with the company of Eduardo De Filippo. In 1984 Giuffrè won a David di Donatello for Best Supporting Actor for the comedy film '' Son contento'', directed by Maurizio Ponzi. Equipe 84
Equipe 84 were an Italian Beat band formed in 1964 in Modena. The name translates as Team 84, and it was originally suggested by a friend of the band, Pier Farri. 'Equipe' was thought to be a word that would resonate more easily outside of their home country, and though the origin of '84' is unclear, it is presumed to have been the total age of the members of the band at the moment of its inception. Originally formed by Maurizio Vandelli (vocals, guitar), Victor Sogliani (bass), Alfio Cantarella (drums) and Franco Ceccarelli (guitar), Equipe 84 recorded their debut album in 1965 with the label Vedette, before signing a more lucrative agreement with Dischi Ricordi.
