Sanju
''Sanju'' is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language biographical film directed and edited by Rajkumar Hirani, written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi and produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banners Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vinod Chopra Films. The film chronicles the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt with main parts bring his addiction with drugs, arrest for his 1993 Bombay bombings#Sanjay Dutt and co-conspirators, association with the 1993 Bombay bombings, relationship with his father, comeback in the industry, the eventual drop of charges from the Bombay bombings and release after completing his jail term. Ranbir Kapoor stars as the title character, along with an ensemble cast which features Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Dia Mirza and Jim Sarbh. The Sanju, or Sanju-la (), with an elevation of , is a historical mountain pass in the Kun Lun Mountains in Pishan County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang, China.
