Sanjivani Jadhav
Sanjivani Baburao Jadhav (born 12 July 1996) is an Indian long-distance athlete at 5000m and 10,000m. She had won a bronze medal at 5000m at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships. Life Jadhav was born in Nashik which is a city in Maharashtra. She attended Bhonsala Military College where she combined her ambition for sport with that of becoming a civil servant. She had initially tried her hand in wrestling and even participated in National level tournaments before taking the plunge to track and field after coach Vijender Singh convinced her parents. She was identified as an outstanding athlete and supported by SportsNest who nurture sports athletes. In 2013 she won three medals at the 1st Asian School Athletics Meet. She came second in the 2016 Delhi marathon. She is coached by Vijender Singh who trained Kavita Raut. 2017 Asian Athletics Championships
The 2017 Asian Athletics Championships was the 22nd edition of the Asian Athletics Championships. It was held from 6 to 9 July 2017 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India. Bhubaneswar was the third Indian city to host Asian Championships. Around 560 athletes from 41 countries attended the event. The Championships were originally scheduled to be held at Ranchi, Jharkhand. After Ranchi's inability to host this event, Bhubaneswar was selected as the venue for this event. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". Kavita Rahut (née ''Raut'', born 5 May 1985) is an Indian Long-distance track event, long-distance runner from Nashik district, Nashik, Maharashtra. She holds the current List of Indian records in athletics, national record for 10 km road running with a timing of 34:32 as well as the current national record in the half marathon with a timing of 1:12:50.
