Sanjha
''Sanjha'' (''Origin''- sd, سنجھا, lit=Evening; ur, ) is a Pakistani drama series began to telecast on Hum TV from 17 November 2011. It was written by Samira Fazal and directed Farooq Rind. Focuses on women trafficking, it has Suhaee Abro in the title role of ''Sanjha'' who comes to the Karachi city from the Thar Desert and is constrained to work in a brothel; the kotha. Plot summary The story revolves around a poor girl Sanjha from the Thar desert in Sindh province of Pakistan. Bakshu, husband of his sister, sells her to a brothel owner Mumtaz and tells his wife, Sarah, that he has sent Sanjha away to the city to earn a living. In her innocence, Sanjha does not realize that she has not been hired as a maid but as a prostitute. Shabo also lives in the brothel with her two sons, Waheed "Weeda" Murad and Deema. 1st Hum Awards
The 1st Servis Hum Awards Ceremony (referred to as Hum Awards), presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis, Telenor and co-sponsored by Nokia Lumia, honour the best dramas of 2012 of Hum (its own channel) and to honour Fashion and Music. The ceremony took place on March 12, 2013, at the Expo Center in Karachi beginning at PM/IST 8:00 p.m. and was televised on 28 April 2013. During the ceremony, the Hum Channel presented Awards in 24 regular categories along with in 3 honorary and in 2 special categories. The ceremony was televised in Pakistan by Hum TV. Rehan Sheikh
Rehan Sheikh is a Pakistani film and television actor, director, writer, film maker and producer. For his portrayal of Hafiz Ilyas in social drama '' Inkaar'', he received critical praise and a nomination of Best Actor at Lux Style Awards. Personal life Sheikh was born in London to veteran journalist Aslam Sheikh (d. 2003), who served as director-general of the Associated Press of Pakistan and was also "among the pioneers of economic journalism in Pakistan", whose older brother was a film director and screenwriter. Suhaee Abro ( sd, سھائي ابڙو, ur, ) is a Pakistani dancer and actress. She specialises in the field of dance and is a trained classical dancer. Suhaee works in television plays, theatre, documentaries and music videos. She won best New Television Sensation Award (Female) at 1st Hum Awards 2013.
