Sanjay Singh Tiger
Sanjay Singh Tiger (born 1974) is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Bhojpur district, Bihar. He has served as MLA in Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Sandesh constituency from 2010 to 2015. Currently, he is the state spokesperson of BJP's Bihar unit. Early life Sanjay Singh was born at Amrai village near Bihiya in Bhojpur district of Bihar. His father's name is Madhav Singh. Sanjay Singh has studied Bachelor of Arts from A.N. College, Patna in 1993. Family His elder brother Dharampal Singh has served 2 times as MLA from Shahpur, Bihar (1990-2000). Political career Before 2010, he was a party worker when he was given ticket from the Sandesh constituency by the BJP. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Jalpura Tapa (Hindi: जलपुरा तापा) is a village and gram panchayat in Koilwar block, Bhojpur district in the Indian state of Bihar. Situated close to the Sone River, it is a large village with more than 12,000 residents. Population-wise it is the largest village and area-wise, it is the 2nd-largest village of Koilwar block. Amit Anil Chandra Shah (born 22 October 1964) is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of Home Affairs since 2019 and the first Minister of Co-operation of India since 2021. He served as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from 2014 to 2020. He has also served as chairman of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) since 2014. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav. Bihiya
Behea or Bihiya is a nagar panchayat town and Block in Bhojpur district in the Indian state of Bihar. The Behea block comprises 76 rural villages, along with the town of Bihiya itself and 22 uninhabited villages. As of 2011, the population of the Behea block was 1,51,722 of whom 26,707 lived in the town of Behea itself. History A branch of the Harihoban Rajputs once ruled Bihiya. According to tradition, in 1528, the scion of the Bihiya Harihobans, whose name is given as either Ram Pal Singh or Bhopat Deo, raped a local Brahmin woman named Mathin or Mahini, in line with the custom of " taking of ''dola''", which allowed the local Rajput lord to sleep with a lower-caste woman on her wedding night. Mathin then committed suicide, but not before laying a curse upon the Harihobans, who eventually left Bihiya and moved to Ballia across the Ganges.
