Sanjaxx Lions
Sanjaxx Lions was a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Toronto, Ontario. The club was founded in 2012 as a soccer academy and added its semi-professional club in League1 Ontario in 2015. The club was one of the ten original founding men's teams in League1 Ontario, which was established in 2014, as well as one of eight original founding women’s teams in the women's division, which was established in 2015. Both the men's and women's teams withdrew from the league following the 2017 and 2018 seasons, respectively. Monarch Park Stadium
Monarch Park Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located near the intersection of Hanson Street and Coxwell Avenue next to Monarch Park Collegiate. Monarch Park Stadium is used mostly for amateur soccer, baseball, and sport of athletics, athletics principally by the Toronto District School Board. Built in 1964, the stadium replaced baseball fields that existed before the school was built in the 1940s. Its capacity is 5,000 with a grandstand located on the south side of the field. 2015 Women's League1 Ontario Season
The 2015 Women's League1 Ontario season was the first season of play for the Women's Division of League1 Ontario. Originally announced with six teams, a seventh (Woodbridge Strikers) was added before the start of the season. A league cup consisted of two groups of either three or four teams, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockout round. Jordyn Nicole Listro (born August 10, 1995) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the Canada national team. Early life Born in Toronto, Canada, Listro was a standout soccer player at Bayview Glen School and was awarded team MVP 2009–11. Esther Shiner Stadium is a multi-purpose outdoor sports facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former city of North York, on the north-west corner of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West. The league began play in 2014 and is sanctioned by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association as a pro-am league in the Canadian soccer league system. Blue Devils Football Club (formerly known as Oakville Blue Devils FC) is a semi-professional soccer club based in Oakville, Ontario. The senior men's and women's teams currently compete in League1 Ontario men's and women's divisions.
