Saniya Habboub
Saniya M. Habboub (first name is also seen as Saniyeh, Sania, or Saniyya) (; 1901 — September 1983) was a Lebanese medical doctor. She was the first Lebanese woman to study medicine abroad and to graduate from the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she earned her medical degree in 1931. Later she worked with the Lebanese Red Cross. Early life Saniya Moustafa Habboub was born in Beirut, to a Muslim family, the daughter of Moustafa Habboub, a Lebanese leather merchant, and Adla al-Jazairy, who was from Turkey. Ramlet Al-Baida
Ramlet al-Baida is a public beach in Beirut, Lebanon. The beach is situated along the southern end of the Corniche Beirut promenade where Avenue General de Gaulle meets Avenue Rafic Hariri and ends at Rue Venezuela. Despite the beach's location in Moussaitbeh, close to the upscale district of Ras Beirut, the beach is popular with a predominantly male clientele from Beirut's low-income southern suburbs.
