is a List of towns in Japan, town located in Ikoma District, Nara, Ikoma District, Nara Prefecture, Japan. As of November 1, 2017, the town has a population of 23,185 people, 10,985 males and 12,200 females and a population density, density of 2,640 persons per km². There is a total of 10,407 households. The total area is 8.79 km². Geography Located in western Nara Prefecture, sitting right next to the border with Osaka Prefecture, the Yamato River flows through. Ikoma Line
The is a railway line of Kintetsu Railway in Nara Prefecture, Japan connecting Ikoma Station in the city of Ikoma and Ōji Station in the town of Ōji. Having a total length of , the entirely electrified standard gauge line is partially double-tracked. All trains stop at all 12 stations (including both termini) along the line. Yamatoji Line
The is the common name of the western portion of the Kansai Main Line. The line is owned and operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West), and starts at Kamo Station in Kyoto Prefecture and ends at JR Namba Station in Naniwa-ku, Osaka. Operations Yamatoji Rapid Service : trains operate between or Nara Station and Tennoji, via a complete loop on the Osaka Loop Line. Trains divert from the Kansai Line at Shin-Imamiya Station instead of continuing to JR Namba. From Shin-Imamiya, they run on the Osaka Loop Line, making limited stops to Osaka Station, and then making every stop before completing the loop at Tennoji Station. Kansai Main Line
The is a railway line in Japan, which connects Nagoya Station with JR Namba Station in Osaka. It is jointly run by the Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) and West Japan Railway Company (JR West), with the boundary between both companies being located at Kameyama Station in Kameyama, Mie. The section from Kamo Station west to JR Namba Station is electrified and a part of the JR West "Urban Network", and is nicknamed the Yamatoji Line.
