Sangurigadhi
Sangurigadhi ( ne, साँगुरीगढी) is a rural municipality (gaunpalika) out of four rural municipality located in Dhankuta District of Province No. 1 of Nepal. There are a total of 7 municipalities in Dhankuta in which 3 are urban and 4 are rural. According to Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development Sangurigadhi has an area of and the total population of the municipality is 21536 as of Census of Nepal 2011. To form this new Rural Municipality Budi Morang, Khuwaphok, Phaksib, Danda Bazar, Bhedetar, Mahabharat and Ahale were merged, which previously were all separate Village development committee (local level administrative villages). Fulfilling the requirement of the new Constitution of Nepal 2015, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development replaced all old VDCs and Municipalities into 753 new local level body (Municipality). Dhankuta District
Dhankuta District ( ne, धनकुटा जिल्ला) () is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. The district covers an area of and has a population (2011) of 163,412. Dhankuta is the district headquarters of Dhankuta District. History Dhankuta was a part of Kirat Region before unification of those parts into Kingdom of Nepal. After 1816 there were 10 districts in Nepal and Dhankuta-chainpur district was one of them. All land from east of Dudhkosi river to the Mechi river was one district Dhankuta-chainpur. Bhedetar
Bhedetar (translation: Sheep's Butte) is a village development committee in Dhankuta District in the Koshi Zone of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2643 people living in 513 individual households. It is 1,420 meters high from the sea level. It is actually the border line of Sunsari and Dhankuta district. Attractions Bhedetar is a developing tourist spot. It is a small hill station just 16 kilometers away from Dharan Sub-metropolis. Khuwaphok
Khuwaphok is rural village located in Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality (Nepal), Rural Municipality ward no. 3 of Dhankuta District in the Koshi Zone of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2918 people living in 537 individual households. Khuwaphok has its boarder connected with neighbouring village; Budhimorang, Dandabazar, Bodhe and headquarter of Dhankuta. Maden danda also known as 'chowk' among the local people is the major market area of people living in Khuwaphok. Dal Bahadur Linkha was the person to open a shop in this remote area for the first time. He used to carry goods by himself and bring them to access of people at the beginning. Cities and towns in Nepal are Municipal corporation, incorporated under municipality. A municipality in Nepal is a sub-unit of a district. Constitution of Nepal 2015 ( ne, नेपालको संविधान २०७२) is the present governing Constitution of Nepal. Nepal is governed according to the Constitution which came into effect on 20 September 2015, replacing the Interim Constitution of 2007. The constitution of Nepal is divided into 35 parts, 308 Articles and 9 Schedules.
