Sangju National University
Sangju National University was a public university in Gajang-dong, in the city of Sangju, North Gyeongsang province. In 2008 it merged with Kyungpook National University, becoming its Sangju Campus. It has an enrollment of about 4,350 students, and employs about 105 professors. The university places a heavy emphasis on agricultural studies. It is home to a graduate school, library, museum, and various technical research institutes. Sangju National University opened on April 25, 1921, as Sangju Public School for Agriculture and Sericulture (상주공립농잠학교). The name changed at various times thereafter, but the school did not gain college status until much later. It was redesignated as Sangju Technical College in 1982, and became a university in 1999. The school's current president is Kim Jong-ho. The school carries out "sister school" relationships with Ball State University in the United States, and Benguet State University in the Philippines. North Gyeongsang
North Gyeongsang Province ( ko, 경상북도, translit=Gyeongsangbuk-do, ) is a province in eastern South Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the northern half of the former Gyeongsang province, and remained a province of Korea until the country's division in 1945, then became part of South Korea. Daegu was the capital of North Gyeongsang Province between 1896 and 1981, but has not been a part of the province since 1981. In 2016, the provincial capital moved from Daegu to Andong. The area of the province is , 19.1 percent of the total area of South Korea. Kyungpook National University
Kyungpook National University (경북대학교, abbreviated as KNU or Kyungdae, 경대) is one of ten Flagship Korean National Universities representing Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Province in South Korea. It is located in the Daegu Metropolitan City, which used to be the capital city of the Gyeongbuk Province, South Korea before being separated from the mother province. Establishment Kyungpook National University was founded on September, 1946 by upgrading the Colleges of Education, Medicine and Agriculture in Daegu to the National College. Agriculture
Agriculture or farming is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock. Ball State University
Ball State University (Ball State, State or BSU) is a public university, public research university in Muncie, Indiana. It has two satellite facilities in Fishers, Indiana, Fishers and Indianapolis. Benguet State University
The Benguet State University (BSU or BengSU) is a state university in the province of Benguet, Philippines. Its main campus is in La Trinidad. History It started as the La Trinidad Farm School, which was elevated to Trinidad Agricultural School (TAS) in 1920. The school reopened after World War II and became the La Trinidad Agricultural High School. Four months later, it was nationalized and renamed as the Mountain National Agricultural School (MNAS).
