Sangeet (film)
''Sangeet'' (''Music'') is a 1992 Hindi film directed by K. Vishwanath starring Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. Madhuri Dixit had a double role as mother and daughter; she later played similar dual mother and daughter role in ''Aasoo'' ''Bane'' ''Angarey'', released a year later. Dixit's sensitive portrayal in Sangeet was appreciated; despite the film underperforming at the box office and is considered to be one of her best but underrated performances. Plot A blind, orphan girl aspires to be a successful singer. With the help of another street performer, she sets out to make a mark and in the process discovers her real parents. Gulshan Kumar
Gulshan Kumar Dua (5 May 1951 12 August 1997), was an Indian businessman, film and music producer who was the founder of the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label in the Bollywood industry. He founded T-Series in the 1980s and established it as a leading record label in the 1990s. After his death, T-Series has since been run by his younger brother Krishan Kumar and son Bhushan Kumar. Suresh Wadkar
Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet. Santosh Anand (born 5 March 1929) is an Indian lyricist who attained success in the 1970s, earning the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist twice in 1975 and 1983. He has also been awarded the Yash Bharti Award in 2016.
