Sandra Nori
Sandra Christine Nori (born 16 June 1953 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is a former Australian politician and presently a company director and Member of Macquarie University Council. Nori was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing the electoral districts of McKell (1988–1991) and Port Jackson (1991–2007) for the Labor Party. She served in a range of ministerial portfolios between 1999 and 2007. Since leaving politics, Nori has been appointed to a number of roles as a non-executive director. Early years and background Nori was born in Newcastle, of Italian parents. She was educated at Petersham Girls High School and University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Economics. Nori was formerly married to Senator John Faulkner and together they have two children. McKell was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales, created in 1988, largely replacing the abolished district of Elizabeth. It was named after William McKell, former Premier of New South Wales ( 1941–1947). It included the majority of inner Sydney and also Lord Howe Island. Paul Gibson (politician)
Paul Bernard Gibson (born 19 January 1944 in Young, New South Wales), is an Australian former politician and former rugby league footballer. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, and represented the electorates of Blacktown between 1999 and 2011 and the electorate of Londonderry from 1988 to 1999, for the Labor Party. Frank Sartor
Francesco Ernest "Frank" Sartor AO (born 9 November 1951) is a former Australian politician who served as New South Wales Minister for Climate Change and the Environment and Minister Assisting the Minister for Health (Cancer) between 2009 and 2011. 1988 New South Wales State Election
Elections to the 49th Parliament of New South Wales were held on Saturday 19 March 1988. All seats in the Legislative Assembly and a third of the seats in the Legislative Council were up for election. The Labor government of Premier Barrie Unsworth was defeated by the Liberal-National Coalition, led by Opposition Leader Nick Greiner.
