Sandra Arlinghaus
Sandra Lach Arlinghaus is an American educator who is adjunct professor in the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan. Her research concerns mathematical geography. Education Arlinghaus has an A.B. in Mathematics from Vassar College, an MA in geography from Wayne State University, and a PhD in Theoretical Geography from the University of Michigan. Mathematical Geography
Geomatics is defined in the ISO/TC 211 series of standards as the "academic discipline, discipline concerned with the collection, distribution, storage, analysis, processing, presentation of geographic data or geographic information". Under another definition, it consists of products, services and tools involved in the collection, integration and management of geographic (geospatial) data. It is also known as geomatic(s) engineering (geodesy and geoinformatics engineering or geospatial engineering). Surveying engineering was the widely used name for geomatic(s) engineering in the past. Vassar College ( ) is a private liberal arts college in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States.
