Dan Sandifer
Daniel Padgett Sandifer (March 1, 1927 – August 15, 1987), was an American football defensive back who played with six National Football League teams from 1948 NFL season, 1948 to 1953 NFL season, 1953. Because of World War II, he was one of the few college football players to play in two College All-Star Games. He currently holds the Washington Redskins team record for most interceptions in a season (13) set in his rookie year, 1948. This record has been surpassed only once in NFL history by Dick “Night Train” Lane with 14 INTs in 1952 playing for the Los Angeles Rams. Dan also had interceptions in six consecutive games during his rookie year, 1948. Career Sandifer was NFL Draft, drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 1948 NFL Draft out of Louisiana State University, Louisiana State, and that same season he led the NFL with a then record 13 interceptions. Phillip Sandifer (born 10 May, 1959) is an American writer, musician, recording artist and music producer. His music is primarily known within the Americana and Inspirational music field. Personal life Phillip Sandifer was born in Baltimore, Maryland on 10 May 1959 but moved to Dallas, Texas as a youth. He attended Highland Park High School, Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama) and the University of Texas at Austin where he received a degree in History. He holds master's degrees from Clemson University (Clemson, South Carolina) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton, MA), a Doctor of Ministry degree from Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis, MO), and a PhD from The University of Southern Mississippi. Robert Sandifer
Robert Sandifer (March 12, 1983 – September 1, 1994) (also known as Yummy) was an 11-year-old boy from Chicago, Illinois. His murder by fellow gang members in Chicago garnered national attention because of his age, resulting in his appearance on the cover of ''Time'' magazine in September 1994. His nickname originates from his love for cookies. Standing 137 cm (4 ft 6 in), Sandifer was a young member of the Chicago street gang the Black Disciples (BD). After committing murder, arson and armed robbery, he was murdered by his own fellow gang members who feared he could become an informant, and that he was attracting too much attention towards their activities. Coverage of Sandifer's death and retrospectives on his short, violent life were widely published in the American media.
