Sandiacre Town Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club based in Sandiacre, Derbyshire, England. The club was established in 1877 and has won the ECB National Club Cricket Championship on 2 occasions: 2003 and 2014. The club currently play in the Derbyshire Premier Cricket League being Champions in 2002, 2004, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2021. Ground The club has played at Longmoor Lane, Sandiacre, since around 1890. The current pavilion was built in 2002 with the aid of a National Lottery grant. The 1st and 2nd XI teams use the Longmoor Lane pitch, rated by the DCCL as a Grade A+ ground, and the 3rd XI and Junior teams use Breaston CC's old ground, located south of Risley, Derbyshire, which is rated as a Grade B ground. Erewash Young Cricketers League
The Erewash Young Cricketers League (EYCL) is a part of Cricket Erewash, which was formed in 2004 as a result of an amalgamation of the EYCL, The Erewash Cricket Development Group and The Long Eaton & District Cricket Association; with an aim to promote cricket in the Borough of Erewash as a member of the Derbyshire Cricket Board (DCB). Objectives include representing Erewash in the formulation of regional cricketing policies, while prioritising the implementation within Erewash of the various aspects of the Derbyshire Cricket Board Development Plan. Membership is open to formally constituted cricket clubs, schools and organisations based within the Borough of Erewash, with an Associate membership open to properly constituted cricket clubs and organisations based outside the Borough. Ravinder Singh Bopara (born 4 May 1985) is an English cricketer who plays for Sussex County Cricket Club in one day cricket. Originally a top-order batsman, his developing medium pace bowling has made him a batting all rounder in the one day game. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Bath Cricket Club is an English amateur cricket club based in the city of Bath, Somerset. The club was founded in 1859 and the Men's 1st XI compete in the West of England Premier League, which is an accredited ECB Premier League, the highest level for recreational club cricket in England and Wales. Bath Cricket Club currently run four Men's teams, and two Women's Teams. In 2003 Bath Cricket Club merged with Somerset Wanderers Women's cricket team.
