Sandhana Kaatru
''Sandhana Kaatru'' () is a 1990 Indian Tamil language crime film directed by Manivannan. The film stars Vijayakanth and Gautami. The film, produced by Sengamalam Manivannan, had musical score by Shankar–Ganesh and was released on 1 June 1990. Plot The film begins with Azhagiri (Vijayakanth) in serious condition in a hospital because he was shot by the police. In the past, he was a military officer who married Raasathi (Gautami). After spending a few years in a military camp, Azhagiri rejoined his wife and daughter. They shifted to Ramu's ( R. Sarathkumar) house. Ramu was Azhagiri's friend and his superior Chakravarthy's (Vinu Chakravarthy) son. A few years ago, Ramu teased Raasathi, and he was beaten for this act along with his friends Viswanath (Vichu Vishwanath) and Vijay (Vijay Krishnaraj). Manivannan
S. Manivannan Rajagopal (31 July 1953 – 15 June 2013), better known by his mononym Manivannan, was an Indian film director, actor and activist who worked mainly in Tamil cinema and also worked in a few Telugu & Malayalam films. In a career spanning three decades, he went from being a story and dialogue writer for director Bharathiraja from 1980–82 to a successful director who thrived in experimenting with different genres, before becoming an actor. With over 400 films to his name, Manivannan was one of the most experienced actors in the field and directed exactly 50 films. Manivannan was mainly a supporting actor in films and often played the comedian, supporting character and villainous roles. He supported various political parties, including the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Halwa Vasu
Vasu, popularly known as Halwa Vasu, (died 17 August 2017) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. He worked in around 900 films. Career Vasu who hailed from Madurai district, came to Chennai to work in cinemas after his graduation. Vasu worked as an assistant to director-actor Manivannan, he carved a niche for himself in comedy films and has also acted alongside the likes of Vadivelu. He was given the name "Halwa Vasu" after the film ''Amaidhi Padai'' (1994), in which he brings halwa which is adulterated with abin, a drug, by the antagonist in the movie who uses it to rape an innocent girl. Death He was hospitalized for some time but died due to liver failure at his home on 17 August 2017. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs.
